A joint narcotics operation was conducted by the Luzerne County District Attorney's Drug Task Force, the Hanover Township Narcotics Unit and the Forty Fort Police Department that led to a Search Warrant and the arrest of a subject residing in Forty Fort, PA. A search warrant was served at approximately 7:00 am on Thursday, September 5, 2019, on Welles Street in Forty Fort Borough. Christopher Whitmore, 45yrs of age, was taken into custody during the execution of the search warrant

EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH
An Excessive Heat Watch is issued when there is a potential for the heat index value to reach or exceed 110 degrees or 105 degrees within the next 24 to 48 hours.
EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING
Forty Fort Police are attempting to locate a vehicle involved in a Hit & Run Crash that occurred on Dana Street in Forty Fort on 7/4/2019 after 1pm. The suspect vehicle will be missing its passenger side mirror and will have damage to that location. The vehicle is a maroon colored Ford passenger car.
Forty Fort Borough Council has passed a new Fireworks Ordinance as a supplement to the newly revised fireworks laws in Pennsylvania. In addition to the state law that says, "Individuals may not intentionally ignite or discharge consumer fireworks within 150 feet of an occupied structure", the borough's ordinance also attaches a curfew of 10pm for those fireworks being ignited or discharged within the borough without a permit from Council.
On 6/21/2019 Forty Fort Police Responded to 973 Wyoming Ave for a report of a disorderly customer inside the store causing damage and threatening the clerk. The female pictured in this incident ripped down the 5 hour energy drink display, used profane language over the fact that she did not have her State Issued Identification to purchase cigarettes and was refused the sale after her
