As Chief of Police, please allow me to welcome you to The Hanover Township Police Department's web site! The site has been and is continuing to be designed with the goal of providing better, more accurate and more useful information and resources for our citizens.

In choosing the look for our website, we were driven by our steadfast goal of State Accreditation, "Building a Department of Pride and Professionalism."  All Hanover Township Police Officers are committed to providing the highest level of service to the citizens and visitors in our community.

We continually strive to keep our neighborhoods and schools safe through effective and professional law enforcement as well as preventing crimes before they occur. The Department offers a full spectrum of modern police services from preventative patrol, K-9, traffic enforcement, criminal investigations, motor carrier enforcement, school resource officers as well as having a Community Crime Watch Liason Officer.

The Hanover Township Police Department is deeply committed to working with it's residents, businesses, and institutions to form truly effective police-community partnerships. This is especially true with regard to the youth of our community. School Resource Officers are assigned to the schools within our district and reflect our goal of reducing crime and violence and preventing substance abuse among our young people through presentations that are geared towards the youth of all ages.

"If a student does not feel safe in school, how can we expect him to concentrate on learning and being a productive and successful member of the community." We must remind ourselves that the youth in our community is the future of our community and we must invest in them to promote their success.
