On the evening of September 8, 2025, at 11:32 pm, Hazleton City Police Department officers responded to a residence in the 350 block of Kiefer Avenue regarding a stolen dirt bike report. The victim reported that their 2025 Honda CRF 150R had been taken from their garage within the past two weeks. Coincidentally, a neighbor witnessed two individuals attempting to steal a vehicle in the same area, but the neighbor's intervention thwarted the theft attempt. The Hazleton City Police Department is currently investigating the stolen dirt bike incident.
