We're Hiring! Full-Time Police Officer...
The Forty Fort Borough Civil Service Commission is accepting applications for the position of full-time police officer. Applicants must have a diploma from an accredited high school or a GED, be a US Citizen, be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer, possess a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicles operator’s license prior to appointment, have completed Act 120 training and be current with training updates, and have reached their 21st birthday prior to the application deadline. Copies of current certifications must be submitted with the application. Applications are available at the Forty Fort Borough Building, 1271 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, PA 18704, Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM or online at www.fortyfort.org. The Forty Fort Borough Civil Service rules are also available for review online or at the borough building. Applications and copies of certifications must be returned no later than 2:30 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, to the Borough Manager or Borough Secretary. Applicants will be notified of test dates. Applications received after the closing date and time or not accompanied by certifications will not be eligible. A copy of DD214 must be included with the application in order to receive consideration for Veteran’s Preference. The Borough of Forty Fort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
